Las Vegas is a tourist’s paradise and in addition to the fabulous resorts and top quality casinos, it has so much to offer visitors of all ages. There is no shortage of activities in Las Vegas from cycling and hiking to tours, sightseeing experiences and more.

Kayaking

One of the most enjoyable activities in Las Vegas is to take a kayak on the Colorado River and explore the famous Hoover Dam from a different angle. Make your way downstream and stop at one of the hot springs. There are kayaks available for rental or you can take advantage of a day kayak tour of the area.

Stratosphere Tower Free Fall

If you’re looking for an adrenaline pumping thrill ride while in Las Vegas then the free fall off the Stratosphere Tower may be the activity you have been looking for. Step over the edge and fall over one hundred stories, plummet down over 350 meters. The free fall at Stratosphere Tower is open daily, of course weather permitting.

Cycling

The Red Rock Canyon is one of the most spectacular natural beauty spots near Las Vegas and one of the activities on offer here is a cycling experience. The desert trails are thirteen miles and you can hire a bicycle and enjoy the trails at your own leisurely pace or you can take advantage of one of the guided tours on offer.

Boat Cruise

Another one of the top activities in Las Vegas is a boat cruise on Lake Mead, an artificial lake. The cruises run twice daily, one of which is a sunset cruise where you can explore the lake in a paddle boat.

Zip Lining

There are a number of options when it comes to zip lining in Las Vegas. You can zip line a short line at the Fremont Street Experience or you can visit Bootleg Canyon near Boulder City, where you can zip line hundreds of meters on various lines.
