Cirque du Soleil’s O may very well be the best show you’ll see in your entire life — surprising, magical, romantic, and a true theater production feat that features a “sideless” water pool and Cirque du Soliel’s unique uber-talented musicians, dancers, and acrobats exclusively performed at The Wynn Las Vegas.

O is the story of the beauty of the theatre, where anything is possible whether you watch a simple street performance or a lavish opera. In addition to the acrobats, O features world-class synchronized swimmers and high divers who perform in, on, and above water to create an absolutely breathtaking experience. In fact, from the ceiling to the underwater stage, everywhere you look you’ll have a terrific view of the action.

Trapeze artists fly high above, and join aerial hoops that bring together aerial choreography with powerful gymnastics. You’ll see Cirque’s famous Bateau (boat) aerial cradle charting its course high above the stage, allowing its steel-frame to become the moving parallel bars for high-flying gymnasts. On the main stage floor, Mongolian contortionists will amaze you with their graceful body language and pyro-experts will have you holding your breath throughout their routine.

Just as water is essential to all life, the pool is essential to O. At the heart of the production, a team of 17 synchronized swimmers provide the link between the elements of fire, earth, air and water; and a team of cliff and exhibition divers leap from 60 feet above the ground into a small exposed section of the pool.

One theatre-goer said it best, “Not only did we want to come back to see another show; we wanted to literally turn around and see another show that very evening!” Cirque du Soleil is a Canadian entertainment company based in Montreal that created the contemporary circus (“nouveau cirque”) movement of mixing theatrical characters, outrageous music and costumes, and unique live music, with traditional circus arts from throughout the globe.
